Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and blanch them in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes until they are pliable. Remove and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the pork mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll it up, tucking in the sides as you go. Place the rolls seam side down in a large pot or Dutch oven.
- Pour the tomato sauce and beef broth over the cabbage rolls. Cover the pot and simmer on the stovetop for 1 hour.
- Once cooked, remove the cabbage rolls from the pot and serve hot. Enjoy!
