Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 lb Hungarian sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  3. Top the potatoes with half of the sliced onions, hard-boiled eggs, and Hungarian sausage.
  4. Spread half of the sour cream over the sausage layer and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
