Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 lb Hungarian sausage, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Top the potatoes with half of the sliced onions, hard-boiled eggs, and Hungarian sausage.
- Spread half of the sour cream over the sausage layer and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
