Λαζ Κεφτέδες (Laz Meatballs) are a traditional dish from Pontic Greek cuisine, known for their delicious blend of flavors and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the meatballs in the skillet for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the meatballs hot with your favorite side dishes.
