Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Gradually whisk in the polenta and 1 teaspoon of salt. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, for 30 minutes or until thickened.
