Ingredients
- 1 bunch of spinach
- 1 bunch of mustard greens
- 1 bunch of fenugreek leaves
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Water
Instructions
- Wash the leafy greens thoroughly and chop them.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the chopped leafy greens and a little water. Cover and cook until the greens are tender.
- Once the greens are cooked, remove from heat and serve hot.
