Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for garnish
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, allspice, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together the tahini, water, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a small bowl. Add more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the buns and topping with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Drizzle with the tahini sauce.
