Lebanese Sfiha (meat Pies) With Pomegranate Molasses

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb or beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of pre-made pizza dough or homemade dough
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, pomegranate molasses, allspice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small circles. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle.
- Pinch the edges of the dough to form a small boat shape around the meat mixture.
- Place the sfiha on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
- Serve the Lebanese sfiha with pomegranate molasses hot or at room temperature.
