Leche Flan Fusion is a delightful Filipino dessert that combines the creamy goodness of leche flan with a unique twist of fusion flavors.
Ingredients
- 10 egg yolks
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
- In a leche flan mold or any round mold, caramelize the brown sugar with water over low heat until it turns into a thick caramel syrup.
- Pour the egg mixture into the mold over the caramel syrup.
- Cover the mold with aluminum foil and steam for 45 minutes or until the flan is set.
- Let it cool then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
