Leek Pie (luxurious Lakror Me Presh)

Ingredients

  • 4 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the leeks, feta cheese, parsley, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer 5 sheets of phyllo dough in a greased baking dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  4. Spread the leek mixture over the phyllo dough.
  5. Layer another 5 sheets of phyllo dough on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  6. Score the top of the pie with a sharp knife to create serving portions.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the pie is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
