Lemongrass Grilled Pork Skewers (Thịt nướng)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs pork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 3 stalks lemongrass, finely minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the lemongrass, garlic, shallots, fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced pork to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated pork slices onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
  5. Grill the pork skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
