Lentil Soup (Къухумаш)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 potatoes, cubed

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the lentils under cold water and set aside.

  3. Add the diced carrots and cubed potatoes to the pot, and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and add the rinsed lentils, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
