Ingredients
- 500g beef, cubed
- 200g mushrooms, sliced

- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until softened. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine. Add the browned beef back to the skillet. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a pie dish with one sheet of puff pastry. Pour the cooled beef and mushroom mixture into the dish. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry, sealing the edges. Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
