Ingredients
- 500g fresh cherries, pitted
- 100g granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 300ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt

- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
- Arrange the pitted cherries in a single layer in the baking dish and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of sugar.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and remaining sugar until light and frothy.
- Gradually add the flour, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the egg mixture, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the cherries in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
