Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 8 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and chopped walnuts. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter. Sprinkle with a little bread crumbs. Repeat with the remaining sheets of phyllo dough, stacking them on top of each other.
