Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until thick and pale. Stir in the honey and sour cream.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Spread a layer of whipped cream between each cake layer, then frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining whipped cream.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
