Ingredients
- 500g ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground lamb, onion, garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, parsley, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into 12 portions and shape each into a sausage-shaped kofta.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook the koftas for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- While the koftas are cooking, prepare the mint yogurt sauce by mixing the Greek yogurt, fresh mint, lemon juice, honey, cumin, and paprika in a bowl.
- Serve the lamb koftas with the mint yogurt sauce on the side.
