Ingredients

  • 500g salmon fillet, skinless
  • 1kg potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on top of the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle half of the sliced onions and half of the chopped dill over the salmon.
  5. Cover with the remaining sliced potatoes, onions, and dill.
  6. Pour the heavy cream over the layers.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  9. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
