Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped Turkish delight (lokum)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped Turkish delight and pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
