Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp rose water
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and rose water.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped pistachios.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the Lokum Pankek warm, topped with extra chopped pistachios and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
