Ingredients

  • 300g lotus root, thinly sliced
  • 200g pork belly, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add the pork belly and stir-fry until it turns golden brown and crispy. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok. Add the garlic, ginger, and green onions, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the lotus root slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender.
  5. Return the pork belly to the wok, then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
