Ingredients
- 500g pork bones
- 1 lotus root, peeled and sliced
- 4-5 slices of ginger
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 8 cups of water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork bones in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse the bones.
- In a clean pot, add the blanched pork bones, lotus root slices, ginger, and green onion. Pour in 8 cups of water.
- Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, skimming off any foam that rises to the surface.
- Season with salt to taste before serving.
