Ingredients
- 1 pound of lean beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the low sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and place the slices on the wire rack, ensuring they are not touching.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is dried and firm, but still slightly pliable.
- Allow the beef jerky to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
