Ingredients
- 4-5 pickling cucumbers, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon pickling salt
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dill seeds
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, and pickling salt. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar and salt dissolve. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Place the sliced cucumbers, garlic, and dill seeds in a clean quart-sized jar.
- Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the cucumbers, making sure they are completely submerged.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
