Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, sliced into cubes
- 200g shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and green onions, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the tofu and mushrooms to the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring gently.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and the sauce mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the tofu and mushrooms are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
