लखनवी गोश्त काली मिर्च (Lucknowi Gosht Kali Mirch) is a traditional dish from the Uttar Pradesh Cuisine, known for its rich and aromatic flavors.
Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the mutton pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the yogurt, black pepper powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 45 minutes or until the mutton is tender.
- Stir in the fresh cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with freshly ground black pepper and serve hot.
