लखनवी मटन कोरमा (Lucknowi Mutton Korma) is a traditional dish from the Uttar Pradesh Cuisine, known for its rich and aromatic flavors.
Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, ground into a paste
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp saffron strands
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the mutton with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the sliced onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated mutton and cook until the meat is tender.
- Stir in the cashew nut paste, garam masala, and saffron strands. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Finish by adding fresh cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
