Lyulya Kebab (spiced Beef Skewers)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 metal or wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion onto a skewer, forming elongated meat patties around the skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  4. Grill the skewers for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and has a nice charred exterior.
  5. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
