Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu cubes between paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Coat the tofu cubes in cornstarch.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the coated tofu cubes and cook until crispy and golden brown.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  6. Pour the sauce over the crispy tofu and toss to coat.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the tofu and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
