Ingredients

  • 500g water chestnut flour
  • 300g granulated sugar
  • 800ml water
  • 50g coconut milk
  • 10g vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the water chestnut flour and sugar together.
  2. Gradually add water while stirring to form a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush with vegetable oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  5. Brush the top of the cake with coconut milk for a glossy finish.
  6. Allow the cake to cool, then cut into squares and serve.
