Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, evaporated milk, melted butter, beaten eggs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the macaroni pie is set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
