Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

- Stir in the yogurt until the dough starts to come together. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Flatten each ball into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese with the beaten egg.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the sirenje on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
