Macedonian Turli Tava (Турли Тава)

Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cubed
- 1 lb beef, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 eggplant, cubed
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the lamb and beef, and cook until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the tomatoes, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Add the potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, and bell peppers to the pot.
- Pour in the water, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the meat is tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed, and serve hot.
