Ingredients
- 500g fish fillets
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, carom seeds, turmeric powder, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth marinade.
- Marinate the fish fillets in the mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
- Fry the marinated fish fillets until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or lemon wedges.
