Ingredients
- 1 cup dried mopani worms
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the dried mopani worms in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- Season the mopani worms with salt and pepper.
- Take a mozzarella stick and wrap it with a seasoned mopani worm.
- Coat the wrapped mozzarella stick in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the coated mozzarella sticks until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Madora Cheese Sticks hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
