Ingredients
- 8 large onions
- 1 cup rice
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups vegetable broth
Instructions
- Peel the onions and carefully hollow out the centers, leaving a few outer layers intact.
- In a bowl, mix the rice, ground beef, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the hollowed-out onions with the rice and beef mixture.
- Place the stuffed onions in a pot and pour the vegetable broth over them.
- Cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour, or until the onions are tender and the filling is cooked through.
