Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Majdoul dates, pitted and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour over the crust.
- Sprinkle the chopped Majdoul dates evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is almost set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before cutting into bars.
