Ingredients
- 500g of pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 400g of crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated halloumi cheese for serving
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Serve the Makaronia Madness with a generous sprinkle of grated halloumi cheese on top.
