Ingredients
- 2 lbs cassava, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil the cassava chunks in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool.
- Mash the cassava until smooth and add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Take a small portion of the mashed cassava and roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining cassava.
- Coat each ball with flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the cassava balls until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the fried cassava balls and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
