Ingredients

  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped almonds, cinnamon, and orange blossom water in a bowl.
  2. Stuff each date with the almond mixture and press to seal.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the stuffed dates and cook until they are golden brown on all sides.
  5. In a separate saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and honey. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes to make the syrup.
