Ingredients

  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup fine semolina
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a small knife, make a lengthwise slit in each date and remove the pit.
  3. In a bowl, mix the semolina, melted butter, cinnamon, cloves, and orange blossom water until well combined.
  4. Stuff each date with a small amount of the semolina mixture and press to seal.
  5. Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Drizzle the honey over the baked dates and let them cool before serving.
