Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Sichuan peppercorns, chili flakes, sugar, garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated beef slices onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the beef skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
