Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup honey (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and sugar together.
  2. Add the warm water and knead the dough until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into balls.
  4. Brush each ball with vegetable oil and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll out each ball into a thin circle.
  6. Brush the circles with more oil and stack them on top of each other.
  7. Roll out the stacked circles into a larger circle.
  8. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each circle for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey.
