Ingredients
- 500g dried broad beans
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Soak the dried broad beans in water overnight.
- Drain the beans and place them in a large pot. Cover with fresh water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours, or until the beans are very soft.
- Drain the beans and let them cool slightly. Remove the outer skins by pinching the beans between your fingers.
- In a food processor, combine the peeled broad beans, minced garlic, ground cumin, and olive oil. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed to achieve a creamy consistency.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with extra olive oil. Serve with crusty bread or toasted bruschetta.
