Ingredients
- 500g boneless fish fillets, cut into small pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- 4 roti breads
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, heat some oil and add the onions, green chilies, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Sauté until the onions are soft.
- Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and fennel seeds. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are fragrant.
- Add the fish pieces and cook until they are fully cooked.
- Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens. Season with salt to taste.
- Heat a separate pan and lightly fry the roti breads on both sides.
- Place a portion of the fish filling in the center of each roti and fold the edges to form a square parcel.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry the fish roti parcels until they are golden and crispy on both sides.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
