Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Malvani masala
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 4 pieces pomfret fish
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Spices: turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds
  • Fresh curry leaves
  • Garlic, ginger, green chilies
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton with Malvani masala, ginger, garlic, and yogurt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated mutton in a pressure cooker until tender.
  3. Cook the basmati rice with whole spices and coconut milk to make Malvani masala rice.
  4. Fry the pomfret fish until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Prepare the sol kadhi by mixing coconut milk, kokum, and spices.
  6. Garnish the dishes with fresh coriander leaves and serve with lime wedges.
