Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp Malvani masala
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, Malvani masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a handi or deep pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add grated ginger and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender.
- Sprinkle red chili powder and mix well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
