Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup Malvani masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the chicken pieces, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the chicken is browned.
  4. Add Malvani masala, grated coconut, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in water as needed and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bhakri.
