Malvani Style Crab Kheema

Ingredients

  • 500g fresh crab meat
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/4 cup Malvani masala
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Now, add the crab meat and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the crab meat changes color, add the tomato puree, Malvani masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Add grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves. Mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Malvani Style Crab Kheema is ready to be served hot with steamed rice or Malvani bhakri.
