Ingredients

  • 500g crab, cleaned and washed
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tbsp Malvani masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Water as required

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the tomato puree, Malvani masala, turmeric powder, and green chilies. Cook until the oil separates.
  3. Add the crab pieces and grated coconut. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in water as needed, cover the pan, and let it simmer until the crab is cooked through.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
