Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup grated Manchego cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced Spanish chorizo
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Manchego cheese evenly over the puff pastry.
  4. Evenly distribute the diced Spanish chorizo over the cheese.
  5. Starting from one long edge, roll the pastry tightly to form a log.
  6. Brush the outside of the log with the beaten egg.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden and puffed.
